ALCARAZ, ZVEREV & BUBLIK top 10 players in action earned theirs first wins. Only Zverev had to play 1 extra set, losing first set to DIALLO.

The biggest surprize was FERY beating COBOLLI (#20) in straight sets 3:0. Ferry reached 2nd round of GRAND SLAM on hard surface for the first time and most likely not the last time. Another surprise newcomer to 2nd round is ZHENG (21 yrs old) who beat KORDA. Our Predictor actually was predicting at least 1 set win for Zheng due to better performance in last 10 matches. In the last 10 matches ZHENG won 2 challenger's tournaments and has very impressive 9 wins out of 10 (although in challengers and qualifying rounds). Definitely it’s not the last time we see Zheng winning matches in GRAND SLAM.
